Very lively hostel and engaged host Nick, who was very helpful and an excellent manager. Moreto & Caffeto is the place to chill out, ideal for people seeking to party in Sofia. Not so much suitable for no smoker and no drinker looking for a quiet place. The hostel is tiny and a little bit small. Great atmosphere, a hostel where East meets the West and vice versa.
Mixed feelings. Staff was nice and trying their best, but the whole way the hostel was run felt very unprofessional. Staff couldnu2019t tell me how to book the tours they advertise themselves & didnu2019t provide a map/tips for where to go in Sofia. Also there are several guests there, in both private rooms and dorms, who have been staying there for a long time (several months), and hang around the room/hostel all day creating a bit of a weird vibe. missed a good traveler community feeling
This place has good vibes! We really enjoyed our time there. The staff was very friendly and helpful (even unforgetable!). It's not very close to the city center, but it's a short walk from all the popular sites. It has all the conveniency of the city center, yet the street is pretty quiet and peaceful. Would definitly stay there again.

Cheerful, low-rate hostel in a neighbourhood about 15 minutes walk south of the Cultural Center and the pedestrianised part of Vitosha boulevard.
Small place, cool wall art, atmosphere is very fun -- a good place if you want to meet people and/or save money. If you want peace and quiet and space to yourself this might not be the place. Location is a little out of the way but the centre of Sofia is still within waking distance.

A combination of it being march and coronavirus time made the hostel super quiet when I stayed there, my room was still full though other rooms were empty and this meant that a guy snoring so loudly meant I didn't sleep well at all during my stay
Location is a bit rubbish, others say 15 mins walk from the centre but it's more like 25 mins & along a highway
Staff were nice but often not there & when i wanted to ask something there was no one to ask
No locks on outside & inside doors
